With 3.3 million liters of water, AquaFoz is among the largest aquariums in South America, alongside AquaRio in Rio de Janeiro.It was designed to enchant and teach at the same time, with environments that showcase all the beauty of aquatic life, interactive panels, and spaces where it's possible to learn while playing.
Furthermore, AquaFoz is also a center dedicated to animal conservation and the production of scientific knowledge. Through research and educational activities, the aquarium contributes to protecting species. AquaFoz is the newest aquarium in Foz do Iguaçu, designed to offer an immersive experience in the aquatic ecosystems of the Paraná and Iguaçu river basins. With an area of 23,000 m² and tanks totaling approximately 3.3 million liters of water, the aquarium houses more than 300 species of freshwater and saltwater fish. In addition to being a tourist attraction, AquaFoz focuses on environmental education, scientific research, and biodiversity conservation.
